Hail to thee

It is a long story but in June 2016 I came to be the owner of a 2012 Kia Rondo. I was out of town on the weekend of July 30 with the motorcycle and a hail storm hit in my absence leaving multiple dents on the hood and roof of the Kia. After a quick appointment this afternoon at a hail damage estimate mobile centre there might be over six thousand dollars in damage once they finish writing everything up. Hail is one of those things you have to put with in southern Alberta and you hope whatever you own will escape unscathed when a storm hits.

You see more and more homes with metal roofs these days. There are cloud seeding efforts. Technology has allowed Insurance companies to be more responsive with mobile centres and remote claims access. It is still a pain when it happens.
