One of the less valuable ranches

This is the second two bit ranch I have seen in Alberta. The other is near Alsike.

I have ran across some great ranch signs . . .

. . . and this is not one of them. This is a cow with the names Celine, Michelle, Henry, Reg, Desiree also known as The Gerbers according to the sign. This is unique.

Tools of the Trade

Just a little north of the Estevan/Noonan border crossing.

My guess would be that a mechanic lives here.

Très Bon!

A metal sculpture in the Big Stone, Alberta area.

At one time there was a sign between the horns advertising "Bon's Texas Longhorns." The sign is gone but now the antlers are covered with solar-powered mini-lights. Try to catch it after dark.

Très bon!

Bison

There's always a surprise or two on a road trip through the countryside...and that's definitely a good thing.  Found this sculpted bison monument one day near the entrance to a ranch yard somewhere between Wimmer and Scrip, Saskatchewan.

Homestead marker

A little northeast of Val Marie, Saskatchewan. I enjoy finding these random bits of history in the middle of nowhere.

Located here 49.334667, -109.705254

If you look off in the distance you cannot see the ranches listed on this sign.
