Passing Pasqua

I saw this barn near Pasqua, Saskatchewan and had to take a moment to photograph it. So full of character! (and probably junk).

Abandoned Barn

Big hay loft in this attractive old barn near Galahad, Alberta.

Big hay loft means lots of room to store hay for feeding cattle in wintertime...and also a great place for mama cats to have their kittens.

Barn post

I posted this one in 2016 when I drove by it then. I drove by this last month on a quick trip. This old barn has character. It is beside the highway in Yahk, British Columbia. I wonder if that Coke button is original. It might be worth something.

Patchwork

And just down the road from the witch house (posted May 13) is this barn with the patchwork roof.

Stone Building

A stone building in an open field near Liebenthal, Saskatchewan. I think this is a barn, albeit one of simple design...almost looks like a garage. There aren't many stone structures in this part of the province so this was a lucky as well as a pleasant surprise.

Happy barn

I made a detour to Duperow, Saskatchewan on my way home on a recent trip to Saskatoon. I had never been down that particular road. I quickly found there was nothing of interest for me except a ways off the road in a farmyard was this barn which appealed to me.

By the way, there is not much at Duperow.
