The weekend of February 13/14/15, 2016 was a long weekend in Alberta. I was out in the south part of Alberta doing some exploring and looking for some interesting sights. Every time I found something that I wanted to take a photo of from the road I would pull over as far as possible and where I could be seen and then put the hazard lights on. I make sure not to park in any traffic blind spots. Five separate times on the weekend when I did this I had vehicles appear seemingly out of nowhere and ask if I needed assistance. One guy in the Crowsnest Pass and I ended up discussing some local history and I made friends with his Basset Hound Waylon. I love small town Alberta.
That's the way America used to be.....
