Near Drumheller, Alberta. More of a big hole in the ground. I usually picture canyons as shown in the Westerns, sandy, desert, and very rocky. There is very little rock on the open prairie. Horseshoe Canyon is named because of its shape and is a depression in a relatively flat prairie. I have been here a few times but I have never bothered to explore it. It would be the perfect time of year to check it out, no snakes.
