The one and only motorcycle shop where I live sells Ural motorcycles. They all come with sidecars and some have two wheel drive. They are Russian and one of these days I am going to break down and request a test drive.
I have always thought that they were cool. I remeber playing witha plastic motorcycle as a child (1970ish) that lpoked lIke a BMW/Ural. Same size wheels, license plate on front fender. Guess it stuck. Besides, a 2 wheel drive motorcycle would extend your riding season.

I've looked at them too and the take away I got was that they are pretty slow and not really up to serious highway work. They are more of a town and country bike for the back roads. If I recall they only have a 750cc engine that is a Russian rip off of the German boxer.
But they are still very cool. I just may consider one for my retirement bike when the big cruisers get too big to handle...
