I bumping this from yesterday because I think it deserves to be seen.
This video is well worth watching. I know a couple of the people in it and they do some some really great stuff. This is for anyone that has ever wondered what happened to a small town and gives you an idea of what southern Alberta and Saskatchewan look like.
Please watch.
Wow, well done. Thanks for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteand thanks to the video makers for leading me to Axletree music.
DeleteInteresting, especially since he uses an old technology to document those places. The situation reminds me of the dead and dying little coal towns of West Virginia, the ghostly small one-time steel towns of the Ohio Valley, and the small communities on old routes killed by the interstate system. I especially sympathize with the statement, that sometimes you go back and it's gone. My wife and I took a drive a few miles up the Ohio the other day and were amazed at the changes in only a couple years.
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving it a look.
