I usually get a notification that people have commented. I have recently noticed that I am not always being notified that comments are being posted. Some notifications have ended up in my junk folder.
I can no longer use my Ipad for posting or editing posts as it has suffered some kind of programming failure. I tried to do a quick edit on a post and my post somehow got eaten. (I am the kind of person that if I post something and notice later that some formatting or spacing or spelling that is off I try to fix it right away.) I managed to resurrect it. I seemed to have lost a few photos on my Ipad but I have them on other sources. A new Ipad will have to wait as too many other things are making demands on my finances. Time to start getting acquainted with my Microsoft Surface again.

I find that Blogger sends notifications of comments to my gmail account only if the commenter is also using Blogger or gmail. If the commenter uses yahoo or wordpress or some other kind of platform, the comment goes to the moderation or spam folder on my Blogger dashboard. So I regularly check there to "rescue" comments.

ReplyDeleteI always go to my blog to approve comments, otherwise I miss too many that don't appear in my inbox. Doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason for it either.
