Every once in a while I will look up grain elevators online. I like to look for interesting ones that are abandoned or look abandoned then I made some haphazard notes so I can see them in person sometime. My road trips not definitely not highly organized.
I ran across the Mildred, Saskatchewan elevator online and it was added to my informal list of places I wanted to see. After seeing it online I thought it looked much better in real life. There used to be a rail line that ran past the elevator. There is not much in Mildred, for me the elevator was worth the trip.
Mildred looks like a fine old gal.
