My page views took a recent nosedive and seem to recovered lately. This is obviously correlated to my announcement that I was withholding hay bales until I saw an improvement. I am rewarding you all with a hay bale photo.
Actually I used a IPhone 6 for this. This was a few miles from where I live. I pulled over and took several photos on a whim. Any photos I take that turn into something are usually the result of luck. Usually I use an inexpensive Sony digital camera. I like to start out things cheap to see if I like something or have a feel for something. If I do then I buy something better.
I figured you'd say that. Most of the pics I post at high country are taken with the same thing. I have a Nikon V2 with a couple of different lenses which takes better photos but it is heavy and cumbersome in comparison. It borders on a waste of money.
I appreciate your posts, BW. Your (somewhat wistful) pics provide a glimpse of areas I have never visited. I try to take scenic pictures when I'm on the road but they seem to fall short of the real thing. I'm no Artist, but sometimes I get lucky!
God smiles from above with approval for all good hay bales.
ReplyDeleteIt was odd how this photo turned out.
DeleteI was noticing the heavenly light too. Great shot!
DeleteNo, I distinctly remember asking for porn and violence and bloodshed, BW. ;)
ReplyDeleteBut I will take the hay bale as a down payment.
Porn and violence will be on the other blog.
DeleteIt looks a beautiful painting!
ReplyDeleteThank you from the bottom of my hay bale loving heart!!
ReplyDeleteAh, hay bales. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a good photo with the sun beaming down through the clouds.
Great shot. What kind of camera equipment are you using?
