This should be in Alberta

On my recent travels into Saskatchewan I saw the following:

When you take the secondary highways in Saskatchewan the road conditions can get interesting. From what I can tell the strategy is not to fix something, just put up a sign instead. To be fair there may not be any funds to overhaul the roads due to budget issues. They could use some signs like this in my province of Alberta. Anyone who lives here has had to get a windshield replaced.

  1. True story...I have a nice crack in my windshield.

  2. When I was growing up in rural Manitoba 50 years ago, every single vehicle in the town and surrounding countryside had a big starburst shatter on the windshield. EVERY SINGLE ONE. If you got a new vehicle with an uncracked windshield, man, you enjoyed it while it lasted because you knew it was only a matter of time . . . .
