If the weekend goes as planned . . .

. . . there won't be any actual plans.

There is a destination. The trip is a little too far. It is winter. It may snow along the way. Temperatures along the route will be anywhere to the -20C's to being on the plus side. At this point I do not care. I find myself wanting a quick break. Other than the destination everything will be made up as I go along.  

I could plan it out. I prefer not to. I worked enough jobs where I had planned multiple detailed timelines dealing with multiple events. My own trips are more of a blank slate. There is always something to be said for the freedom to get out and do things.
