Eagle eye

Sometimes you get really lucky. October 15, 2016 on Highway 855 north of Mundare, Alberta I was with a few friends and this was spotted. This is the first time I got photos of a eagle. In Alberta I frequently see hawks on fenceposts and signposts and have yet to manage a photo. This is better. I managed to quickly snap a number of photos before the eagle got bored with our presence and flew off.

    Great pictures!!

    I often see eagles here. They fly up and down the river, looking for fish, I suppose. I have never been lucky enough to get pictures of them.

    Cool! I love seeing hawks and eagles and if I am lucky, an owl. They usually fly away before I can get a good photo.
