Barn hunting in Saskatchewan

Highway 31 just east of Dodsland looking south on October 9, 2016. The good thing is barns are always in season. Spotted this from the highway and drove off the road up a little hill to get a better look. Driving off the highway was almost a mistake. The ground was so saturated with moisture from a recent snowfall I had serious misgivings that I might get stuck. The weather was chilly, wet, and windy. Shot photos until my fingers started to go numb. Still worth it.

  1. What a great barn!! Looks like someone was taking some boards, though. Old barn wood is expensive.

  2. Great pictures! Worth the risk of getting stuck in the mud.

  3. Second picture from the bottom... the barn looks surprised...or maybe shocked because someone is stealing boards from it... that's my take... LOL
