I took a section of highway that I had never been on before. I took Highway 884 north from Jenner, Alberta to where it meets Highway 570. Typical prairie until where it crosses the Red Deer River. There is a nice long curving descent down to a single lane bridge with a wood deck. I am thinking I may try it with the bike when the weather is warmer except the deck is uneven. The bridge crossing would have to be at low speed.
You'll enjoy the sound of your bike tires make on that bridge!
ReplyDeleteI had a runaway on that hill one time with a load of cattle, let's say it was an adventure I would rather not experience again! Great photo Dale.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really great photo BW....I like all the texture in it....one of my favorites! The architecture of the bridge looks interesting.
ReplyDeleteDamnation! I think I love the backroads of Alberta. Simply great country.
