Stry Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Eucharist

The original log church was built in 1910 and it was replaced by this one in 1934.

Stry, Alberta once had a post office, a store, and a school. Not much remains there now except for a hall and two churches.

  1. Beautiful church and bell tower with exquisite domes. Looks wonderful against the blue sky and golden grass.

  2. Stry is a name that cries out for more letters - it seems lacking somehow. That church makes up for it.
