South of Southey, Saskatchewan. That is as definite as I am going to get with the location.
This has been on my radar for some time and I finally got here. It was supposed to be a sunny day so of course when I got there it was very overcast with the threat of rain.
It is a beautiful spot. One of the highlights of my year.

Beautiful stonework. What a shame.
ReplyDeleteAmazing what you find on the prairies. It is a shame this beautiful old church was not preserved but I guess there just wasn't the means to do that in those days.
ReplyDeleteThe stonework is amazing. I imagine it would all have had to be hauled in from elsewhere. Must have been beautiful at one time.
