Remains of a stone house northeast of Tofield, Alberta. Posted this one before a few years ago with several photos. Made a quick stop here the other day to see what kind of shape it was in. Still standing tall.
Would be interesting to know why the upper part is a different material - did they run out as they were building or maybe it was an addition if the student numbers grew. Or maybe there was a fire at some point and they opted to replace the roof with this rather than stone.
I'd guess the half-story was added later.
