Not your typical Ukrainian Catholic Church

Most of them have domes.

Camrose County, Alberta.

  1. Well, the metal strands around the steeple do kind of suggest a dome, I suppose. Kinda post-modern.

  2. Possibly was some other denomination before its present use. The church I attend in a small town in Kansas was moved 42 miles. It went from being Catholic to Methodist. It was moved around 1910. The pictures were pretty interesting with all those horses.

  3. The steeple is quite interesting on this one. Never seen anything quite like that before.

  4. Hmmm...just speculation but it looks like a Roman Catholic church that's been uniquely adapted to become a Ukrainian Catholic church.

  5. My thoughts too, but I couldn't find anything to confirm that.
