I saw this on July 16, 2017 south of Cappon, Alberta. There is nothing at Cappon and this is very rural. The sign reads "Childrens Cemetary". It is spelled exactly like that. So far I have not been able to find out much information about this place.
There are no headstones and no markers.
The back of the sign has a list of who is interred here. It reads as follows:
INFANT OF HENRY MC DONALD
CHILD OF WILLIAM MC GRATH
FRANCES NICOLL
CHILD OF ANDREW ALLEN
INFANT OF ALFRED (KID) HOWE
4 WILLIAM ENGLAND CHILDREN
THESE CHILDREN DIED IN THE PIONEER DAY
Sad and lonely ...and the sign is intriguing... leaves you wanting to know more.
