Anthony Hill School July 30, 2017

This is just outside Usona, Alberta. The last time I was here and I posted it the temperature was -30C. Summer, warm weather, and lots of foliage make a huge difference. This building is a little more substantial than your typical one room schoolhouse. I have only seen a couple of schools like this one. The inside has experienced some vandalism and I did not feel like taking photos of it.

  1. Fantastic find! Appreciate the tour. Hated school as a kid, with every last fibre of my being, but today, love old schools like this. A top ten favourite subject. Keep them coming.

    1. Not my find. Jenn alerted me to this months ago.

    2. I promptly ran home on my first day of school...and that was two miles back to the farm. That pretty well sums up my sentiments about school for the following twelve years.

    3. I never liked going to school and some days I truly loathed it. I loved taking college and university courses and took enough to complete a degree. I am not sure why I like old schools.
