There were zillions of them camping on the Red River ice last week. As the ice melts, they'll be in our parks and our walkways...
And they show no fear. Everyone knows to be wary of them.
Screw robins. Canada geese are the true sign of Spring!
We have been seeing great flocks of honkers headed North.
Spring is coming. Spring is coming. Keep thinking that!
They stay here in the Mid-Ohio Valley all winter anymore, even when the rivers freeze over.
They are pretty tough.
The power plant keeps part of the river open so we have hundreds of geese here in the winter.
