The Canada Geese are staying so spring must be coming

I have been seeing hundreds of them on fields and the numbers are increasing.

They are tough birds. A late spring winter snowfall will not hurt them.

  1. There were zillions of them camping on the Red River ice last week. As the ice melts, they'll be in our parks and our walkways...

    1. And they show no fear. Everyone knows to be wary of them.

  5. They stay here in the Mid-Ohio Valley all winter anymore, even when the rivers freeze over.

  6. The power plant keeps part of the river open so we have hundreds of geese here in the winter.
