Water Valley, Alberta

This place is about fifty miles northwest of Calgary. I have a nephew that goes to a summer camp in the area for a week every summer. It is a small place, I have no idea what keeps it going. They have a general store with gas pumps, a hardware store, a school, and a few other amenities. Most places of this size don't have that much. I have been here a few times and had dinner at the saloon. Good food, I would eat there again. They have a rodeo that I plan on attending in the summer and an auction in March. Next time I am there I will have to ask if you can actually get rooms at the saloon.
