Near Okotoks, Alberta on New Years Day

I like to take a drive on the first day of the year. It is kind of a tradition. I had always wanted to check out the big rock at Okotoks. This section of rock is in a field miles and miles away from the mountains. You can see the Rocky Mountains from here off in the distance however this rock really sticks out as it looks so out of place. It was a little brisk and cloudy making for some interesting light conditions.
