Buy a different vehicle. The Kia needed brakes and some other work. While driving by a car lot I saw a 2010 Ford Ranger 4.0l V6 2WD with under 75,000km on it. So I bought it.
There is nothing really wrong with the Kia and I plan on doing the repairs at a later date. For the time being I just wanted something different. The truck is definitely better suited for the back roads in Alberta.
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteYay, getting your country on!
ReplyDeleteIn Alberta I should have a truck.
DeleteYes, it will handle roads the Kia should not.
ReplyDeleteIsn't the Ranger a Mazda drive train? They seem to be durable vehicles.
ReplyDeleteI do not know if they do. I know years ago Mazda/Ford shared a lot with the small trucks. Mazda does not sell small pickups in Canada these days.
DeleteHey! My truck is just about the same. Yours is two years newer and has a different grille. Mine has been a good truck.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great buy (not that I know anything whatsoever about trucks but it's blue and that makes it perfect in my books).
ReplyDeleteThe quintessential "old man" truck. Just missing the topper and stickers.
ReplyDeleteReally nice. I never put stickers on anything I own. I wanted something plain and I got it. Curious what you drive.
DeleteRangers are tough little trucks. Enjoy it.
