I was traveling down the Fraser River valley in British Columbia when I spotted this church, a long way away across the river. I found a place to park and got out my "long lens" to record it.
Here's a wider view, showing some other interesting buildings in the area. It looks like the house is inhabited, given the Canadian flag, so I imagine it's private property. I'm not sure how one would even GET there.
This is near Basque and near the site of the "last spike" of the Canadian Northern Pacific, Canada's third trans-continental railway.

Pretty rugged terrain out there.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's beautiful - very dry.
DeleteGreat looking church - and the structure to the extreme left looks like something out of the wild west.
