Rural Alberta road hazard January 2, 2016

Out on the backroads looking for anything of interest. I was out with a friend, we took the rural roads south of Highway 9 to Beynon, Alberta. The rail line depicted below does not exist anymore. The tracks have been torn up years ago. The rail bed and a lot of bridges remain. Beynon itself is a ghost town. Went looking to see if there was anything of note.

Nothing really interesting on this route. We did run across four cowboys conducting a small cattle drive on Township Road 270. Road hazards can be a little different here in Alberta. When you see this prepare to wait and let them have the right of way.
