Bottrell General Store

You used to see a lot of small town general stores in Alberta. My grandmother worked in the general store in Rocky Rapids, Alberta. That store had groceries, clothes, hardware, a post office, gas, and some other stuff that I probably forgot about. I grew up in British Columbia however I remember stopping there with my father when we were visiting. The original store got moved to Drayton Valley some years back.

There are few general stores left in Alberta and if I see one on my travels I try to stop. This one is in Bottrell, Alberta.
