On my weekend trip to southern Saskatchewan the fields were busy with combines, tractors, and trucks. This was the only one I saw parked. Most of the equipment being used is green as in John Deere, next is red which is Case, not a lot of Lexion. John Deere is seen far more than anything else.
The Lexions are engineering nightmares . Multiple systems to do what one would do much better . They work good for a few years but then you need a fulltime mechanic to keep it in the field . Example : hydraulic brake actuated by a 12 volt solenoid that is governing output of a mechanically driven hydraulic pump.
ReplyDeleteThat would explain it. I rarely see Lexion equipment.
DeleteI've never even heard of Lexion!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of them either.
