I have no problem giving the location of this one as it is right beside a highway.
There are supports at each corner to keep it stable and there is a cable wrapped around it to keep it together. This has been on my list for some time for the sole reason that I wanted to see it. This is not a very big building.
Interesting that it looks as though all but one window is boarded up. And that it has a relatively new roof.
ReplyDeleteMy great-grandfather, Joseph Blayone, Sr was one of the two stone mason who built this school in 1908. The first teacher was Miss H. Barker..Blayone children attended school here from the first day of opening in 1909 until it closed in 1964.
