Highway 93A south of Jasper, Alberta

Highway 93A is part of the old highway south of Jasper. There are good reasons to take the old highway. This section is a little south of Jasper and joins the main highway again at Athabasca Falls. You get to enjoy the drive, avoid traffic, and see more.

You can even streetview it on Google.

  1. The last Jasper I was in was in was in the state of Georgia. It sure didn't have those mountains!

  2. Nice! I'm a lover of back roads too and must admit if I'm driving I often strike off for parts unknown - horrifying DH no end. He's learned, after nearly 41 years, that as long as I'm going in the right general direction we'll eventually get where we're going.
