Fading away

This barn along Highway 16 west of Entwhistle, Alberta finally collapsed. I kind of kept informal track of it whenever I drove by. I was wondering how long it would hang on. Time gets us all.

For some reason I found the window interesting.

  1. ...this barn would look at home here. This winter's light snow falls won't be taking down many barns.

  2. You like the window - I am intrigued by the weathering on the boards. That remnant of red paint is inspiring. Might have to use that thought!

  3. That is one town with an air of seriously bad karma around it...

  4. The snow was finally just too much for it.

  5. I wish I was enough of an artist to do that window justice as a painting. Well done photo.
