St. Peter and St. Paul Church, Dickie Bush, Alberta

Also known as the Russo Greek Orthodox Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. Construction started in 1909 and finished in 1912. It sits on top of a hill and is still in use. I could have got a few more photos except it was -30C when I was there on December 31, 2017.

  3. The orthodox churches have a pleasing look to them.

On a side note when I read just the title of this entry my first thought was "where's Mary"! Anyone remember "Peter, Paul & Mary"?

  5. It looks like all its rooms and cupolas are huddled together for warmth.

  6. This has to be one of the nicest churches I've ever seen! And it's yellow (swoon!). Love those gold crosses in the windows too.

  7. Why do they use regular crosses and not the traditional Orthodox cross (with 3 bars)
