Located in Vulcan County south and east of Calgary. Everybody may have to be somewhere but we all eventually end up at the end of our journey. This is a truly forgotten spot. There is no sign or fence noting that there is a cemetery here. It is located at the crossroads of Range Road 270 and Township Road 174. If you drive by you can easily miss it as I have in the past. Across the road is a marker where Sharon School once stood.
There are eleven known graves here. I found three that are marked. It is very overgrown so it is a guess where everyone is located. The headstone for Tigner is the only one that stands out.
Found a headstone by chance buried in the undergrowth. The name is unreadable due to time and nature.
Such a lonely spot. It may sound a bit weird, but I am always glad when you find these abandoned cemeteries. It is as though in the discovery, those people are not completely forgotten.
