Retlaw, Alberta June 13, 2015 Part Three

The church is one of two buildings in Retlaw. There is a small community centre that I did not include in any photos as it is a modern building. There is the remains of a blacksmith shop in poor condition. The church is on the edge of town and as you drive on a gravel road towards Retlaw it looks like a lone building on an empty prairie. There are two modern houses nearby with people living in them on opposite ends, each just outside of the town.

The church has been restored. It can be booked for events and is still occasionally used.

Every pew has a plaque of those who contributed to the restoration.

No access to the tower.

  1. Love the church - looks like a castle! Was that a piano AND an organ in there?
