Highway 61 is a lonely ride

Highway 61, also known as the Red Coat Trail, named after the route that the NWMP (North-West Mounted Police) took on their mission to bring law and order to the Canadian west. I took this route from Orion, Alberta to Stirling, Alberta on July 19, 2015.

This was a very quiet trip. I made the trip solo and I might have seen ten cars my entire time on this highway.
