On hiatus

I do not know when or if I will be back.

I likely will be back. I really have nothing new or nothing to say for the foreseeable future. I have a lot of days ahead of me where very little of any note will be happening.

I need to set the blog aside for a bit.

  1. This does not sound like you. Please post at least one more time. Worried that something went terribly wrong. Don't give up, or shut down. You have friends you don't know about. God bless kind Sir.

  3. Agree with the earlier comment--
you have people out here that look at your blog daily-- sometimes just to see what western Canada looks like, and your "take" on it all.

I've been thru rehab (heart) -- so I have a reasonable idea what is going on,
and it's an "adventure"-- therapists pushing you, and most of the time you are thinking that you are making little progress (even though you really are).
Same old small number of familiar faces day-after--day

Keeping your blog (and us) up to date -- even if it's just once or twice a week will be good for your "mental progress."
People out here care -- even if we never meet face to face

    So, please rethink your direction.

  4. Yeah that won’t cut it, BW.

WHen you’re back home and gotten your poop in a group and things have settled down let me know… I will drop by with either a flask or a couple bottles. 😂👍

You have fans that will worry about you if you go silent…

  5. Your blog is a window to many different parts of the world and many different people who wish you well.
It was great to hear you were still alive! And it still will be...
    Hang in there...

  6. BW ... so sorry for the situation you find yourself in... I've been reading your past posts and what happened is so unfair and unwarranted. Know that I along with many others pray for a speedy and complete recovery. I know rehab stinks and while you may think you have nothing to say, I know I'l be happy to read anything you want to post. Critique the food, talk about the weather, complain about the physical therapists (I know they are only trying to help but some days they can get on a person's last nerve). You're in my prayers.

  7. I echo the comments already here and truly hope you don't stop blogging even though you think you don't have anything to say. We are all concerned and want to try to support you as best we can.

  8. Dad gum it. I want to know even if NOTHING is happening. Keep in mind that you are not laying in a bed in a South Vietnam hospital in 1969 with no communication available with friends and your new wife of six months wondering if you are still alive. Just a yep I am still kicking will mean a lot to us,
