Important note

If by some unfortunate set of circumstances you find yourself in the hospital for an extended period of time here is some advice. Be nice to the nurses. Cooperate with them and do not cause them any problems. Be good to them and they will likely be good to you. It will make your stay a lot easier.

  1. For sure! There's a couple of old adages - 'what goes around, comes around' and 'you catch more flies with honey than you do vinegar'...both are true when it comes to nursing staff.

  2. You'd think "don't mess with the people taking care of you" would be something you don't have to think about.. but I've seen crappy behavior towards wait staff in eating establishments.

But I'd imagine that after the second week in a hospital bed one's mood might not be right up on the positive side...
    Hang in there!
