Oddly enough I'm not having too much trouble with the new format. Things are slightly different but once you locate the 'new' buttons to push it works just fine. Of course, after my having said that, it will probably blow up in my face!
Extra button pushing to size images. I think the old blogger used to use percent-of-screen width formatting.
Yeah, it sucks. The reason they give is they "wanted it to look fresh".
One thing I miss is the ability to have a header for a section and have it attached to the top of the first paragraph rather than floating with equal margins between the last paragraph of the previous section and the first paragraph of the section the header refers to.
It's horrible - what idiot decided that a listing of blog posts would be improved by putting a big square image on the left of each entry so that you can only see 10% of what you used to be able to see?
A lot of bloggers today are asking that exact same question. The New Blogger sucks, especially for posting and sizing images.

Some folks have moved to a .com, but that means at least a little cost, plus losing a lot of followers.
ReplyDeleteWithout going into a rant..."New Blogger" must have been a committee decision.

ReplyDeleteAnd don't get me started on the stats.
I really do not understand what they are doing with the stats. My daily views are holding steady but my monthly views are decreasing?
