Abandoned Saskatchewan

Spotted this north of Claybank, Saskatchewan.

  1. A nice house back in the day, brick with a covered porch around half of it and an upstairs where they used a good bit of the space.
I'd imagine that the kids grew up, went on their way and the house was used as long as the parents were able. Then it was left...

  2. Made of bricks, I see. I suspect that house is not all that terribly old. Just abandoned.

  4. Amazing brickwork on that. I wonder what the market value is?

    1. I have no idea. It was probably a farmhouse as it is rural.

  5. I think the bricks are from the nearby Claybank Brick Plant. The plant is an historical site and has a very interesting past.

    1. You are likely right. The site was closed when I drove by.

  6. At first glance I thought it was a barn. Must have been a beautiful home at one time.
