I lived in something similar, a two-story 40-sided polygon. They are quite energy efficient and the acoustics are fabulous. An interesting thing that happens in high winds is the wind splits to go around the house and then it slaps together on the other side with a booming sound. Was a bit unnerving the first time I experienced it.
