Medicine Hat to the US border via Highway 41. I had not seen another person in many miles. I had to pull over and enjoy the silence and marvel at how big the prairie can be.
Finding quirky stuff is a highlight for me on a road trip. This was one of the best.
Prairie scenes can be hard to capture. I really paid attention to trying to get good prairie photos after taking this.
One time of the year for one spot can make a big difference over another time of the year.
All of these are great pictures BW... that 3rd one puts me in awe of the prairie...have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteBeing in the middle of the prairie like that gives a whole new meaning to silence doesn't it. And one wonders the why of those rather intriguing creatures.
