The windmill post with a twist

East of Halkirk, Alberta on April 2, 2016. Abandoned house by a modern windmill. Personally I do not like the modern windmills and I still think they are a blight on the landscape.

    The old windmills had character. The new ones are just ugly.

    A local farmer has one - you can see it for miles. I wonder how many birds it has killed...

    Out with the old in with the new...so sad...I like the picture for the contrast though...it shows the old is still better.
