This is just outside Drayton Valley, Alberta where I was driving to visit my mother on March 26, 2016. This is the old highway bridge crossing the North Saskatchewan River which was in use last year. There was a plan floated to keep it and use it as part of a new trail system. I thought it was a good idea. Other views prevailed and it is being dismantled.
To dismantle something in use...gives pause for thought. I do like the photograph though.
ReplyDeleteI am headed down there next week.
ReplyDeleteI kinda liked the old bridge and always looked forward to the view as I crossed it.
