I took a brief trip to Vancouver Island in July, 2013. The following photos where taken on July 24, 2013 near Port Alberni, British Columbia. The falls are a short drive and walk from the highway. I was on the road to Tofino for no reason other that I had never been there before. If you like windy narrow twisting roads through the mountains this is the highway for you. Satellite radio and cellphones are hit and miss on the drive due to being blocked by the mountains.
