Looks like it's being kept up, at least somewhat.
Hip-roofs with 6-12 pitch is near optimum for shedding wind. Nothing for the wind to get under. The peak is sharp enough the the boundary layer detaches and there is no "lift"
I ran across this one by chance a few winters ago. Love the huge bank of windows on the east side. Must see it one day when the grass is green.
