Conquest, Saskatchewan fire truck

I took a bit of a detour through Conquest, an interesting name for a town. More there than I thought. There is C.F.D. on the side which I would guess stands for Conquest Fire Department. It looks like it is still being used for something.

  1. Nice old truck. Bet it starts right up (firemen are famous for their well maintained equipment).

  2. My guess is it's used for hauling water. Or could that tank be used for fertilizer?

  3. My guess is its mission is now hauling water for whatever might need water where there's no water source. Like mixing farm chemicals out in a field, putting out grass fires, watering livestock, etc.
