Pella Mennonite Church

A very foggy October day near Neville, Saskatchewan. On the way here in the morning visibility was close to zero a few times. This church has been abandoned for a long time. There is a small cemetery nearby. I was here earlier this year. This visit made for better photos.

  1. I take it that nobody tends to the cemetery. That bothers me at a certain level. The people who lived and died there likely earned their memorial, and while I know that it's only their remaining clay...somebody should look after hallowed ground. I'm too far away to be of any help.

    1. The church grounds and cemetery had been recently mowed when I stopped here in late-July.

    2. Someone is putting up a new fence when I was there. There were new posts in the ground.

    3. I meant to say a new fence around the cemetery.
