In my youth, we bucked much smaller, square bales (tied with either twine or wire depending on whether it was grass or alfalfa). Are these picked up with some sort of forklift?
I grew up on a small farm so I know all about the smaller square bales. These big round bales are dependant on a bale loader mounted on a tractor or truck or, a simpler method is a long steel spike mounted on the front-end loader of a tractor.
Ahhhhhh, my bale fix of the day!
