Retlaw United Church, Retlaw, Alberta

Retlaw is a ghost town. There is not much left. Some time ago people restored the church that was built in 1913. The church is no longer used on a regular basis. You can book it though for an event.

There is something about church windows . . .

  2. Very cool pictures, what made the town a ghost town? Wonder how often the quaint little church get's used after being refurbished? In that how close is the ghost town to civilization?

Out blog walking this Monday morning and found my way here, always nice to meet new bloggers.

    1. The town failed due to a few years of low crops. People began slowly moving away. The railway that ran through here was removed. Eventually there was no one left.
